Second Sun
One sun is the real one, where you are. The other keeps its own day, a little longer than twenty-four hours, and falls a little further behind every night until it comes all the way round and rises with the real one again. Bodies do this. This is what it looks like.
Why I made this
A non-24-hour body clock is usually drawn as a diagonal line marching across a calendar. That is accurate and it looks like a fault. I wanted the same fact drawn as weather. Your sun is up, or it is not. It rises when it rises. Nobody says the sun is late.
The second sun replays the real sun’s arc for your place and season, so its days are long in summer and short in winter like the real one, and it keeps a day of whatever length you give it. Set your last natural wake as its sunrise and it will tell you where your sun is right now, and the day the two of them next rise together.
